As a summary, we talked about the following topics:
- The need of making good use of the space. We had a dialogue if it is a good idea to continue giving access to the makery to all the people or to limit it to 1-2 people of each team. The majority of the assistants were in favour of reducing the access card number thinking that this would improve the responsibility of all the people.
- There was a debate around the topic of leaving a certain amount of deposit at the beginning of the year. What it is clear is that once we feel that each team company will respond economically to the loss or bad use breakages, the responsability increases considerably. There is not any decision about the quantity or the proceedings yet, but it is a initiative that will certainly happen next course.
- We all agreed that it is not acceptable the robbery or theft of other team companies belongins. Together with this, we see necessary to name or place all materials clear enough to identify them. The materials that are organized well are more likely to be taken from others.
- Each team company will have a specific place in the shelves on the front left side of the Makery. The materials that are not identified will be collectivized.
- The laser cutter is giving problems. They are very sensitive machines and we have to watch over them carefully. If we are not confident enough of using the laser cutter, please contact with Iker or Asier first.
- Also a reminder that the projects that have been selling products made by the laser cutter should pay per its use. Contact Asier or Iker ASAP to talk about how to follow with this formality. Remember that this money will be use to buy materials/tools or whatever we all as maker community leaders decide (Some ideas for now: 3D printing resine, vynil, serigraphy materials...).
- We also talked about the idea of opening some other workshops (for example graphic designing, artificial intelligence...). Please, ask in your team companies which are the interests or needs so to start organizing them for next course.
